Day 14-18? Something like that. Yellowstone & Tetons.
Day 14: We found a wonderful campsite near a river (for free - national forest). We kept our tent set up at this spot for the duration of our stay in Yellowstone. It took hours to get through Yellowstone: people like to stop in the middle of the road to see wildlife. We also did laundry and took showers. Showers were $4.51, the most we have paid this trip. I have seen showers as high as $10 though and read online they are even more expensive at trucker gas stations.
Day 15: We saw Old Faithful from a bench a little ways from the geyser. It was a perfect view and nearly no people compared to actually being around Old Faithful. In between seeing Old Faithful and Grand Geyser we got ice-cream and saw Grand Prismatic Spring from he boardwalk. It was fairly cold that day so when we walked around the spring, the heat and steam from the spring hit us and made us a little damp. The colors in the spring stood out even more when wearing polarized glasses. I talked to a couple next to us that said the same thing.
Day 16:We went to see the upper and lower waterfalls of the yellowstone river. They were amazing. We then slept in the car that night because it was too cold. Since the tent was already set up, we were able to unload the car a bit and have a little extra room.
Day 17: We went back and saw Grand Geyser and hiked to a better look out point for Grand Prasmatic springs. We saw a bunch of wildlife along the way.
Day 18: We went to the Tetons and hike around for about 8 miles. Saw some beautiful sites. Then we drove through Yellowstone and got a BnB in Cody.

Sawney thought the BnB was the greatest thing ever, so I thought it deserved a spot to itself. It was a small cabin in someone's back yard, but plenty big for the three of us. We were only looking for a place to sleep and shower anyway. It was hand built, and well done. The toilet did not flush - it was a composting toilet. All in all, a very nice place.
